When your appliance chassis is opened, a warning event is created within IPMI, as well as ESXi hardware sensor alert and SynetoOS notification.

Check if the unit door is properly closed, verifying both the front and the back. After that, check unit's led: they should be all with green color.

On ESXi console you could receive an alert message like this:

On SynetoOS, you could receive a notification like this:

On IPMI you could receive a warning like this:

To remove the "Chassis Intrusion" warning, follow the steps below.

1. Access IPMI Event Log

2. Clear Event Log

3. Reset the Intrusion alert
