Before Upgrading to SynetoOS 4


We know how excited you are to upgrade to SynetoOS 4, but before that, we kindly ask you to give some attention to the following details:

  • Downtime is required, therefore we suggest to plan ahead and schedule the upgrade outside business hours.
    Upgrade duration estimated for 2 hours (primary and DR)
  • Open a ticket with our Support Team in order to verify and confirm upgrade process How to open a ticket with our Costumer Support Team

  • Syneto appliance must have full internet access, firewall/ proxy should be temporary disable during the upgrade process

  • Before starting the process, all VM's must be shut down
  • Create a central account dedicated to the appliance, we suggest to apply end-user credentials
